Solar-Thermal Water Heating Kits
Uses include
Principle of Evacuated Tube Collectors Solar-thermal water heating systems circulate water (or glycol fluids) through evacuated tube collectors. The liquid gets heated by the sun and the temperature rises in a storage tank until the heat exchange process takes place providing hot water to the user's storage tank. The system manages the flows with electric pumps, valves, and controllers. Expansion tanks are used in closed-loop configurations. Advantages • Provides a 'green' solution with simple structure and easy installation • Captures the sun's energy, regardless of outside temperature • 60-80% of sun's energy is captured by solar-thermal systems, 4-5x more than PV! • Open-loop configurations can connect with full pressure of household water supply • Available with solar powered water circulation pumps • Could be installed with parallel and/or series connections Components - Solar Collector - Vacuum Tubes - Heat Pipes inside Solar Vacuum Tube - Water Pump With Expansion Tank - Smart Controller - Water Storage Tank Kit Pricing (includes all above components) 1 collector + 200L tank (single coil) - $3,510 1 collector + 200L tank (dual coil) - $3,675 2 collectors + 400L tank (dual coil) - $5,545 3 collectors + 500L tank (dual coil) - $7,155 Optional Accessories • Solar powered water circulation pump • Secondary Solar controller for floor heating • 1500W electric booster |
